McChristian has nearly four decades of experience in international business and philanthropy, rising to senior leadership positions at IBM and Dun Bradstreet. He has also served on the board of several other non-profit organizations dedicated to furthering the educational advancement of young people from disadvantaged communities, including the A Better Chance (ABC) program, Student Sponsorship Program and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. McChristian joins Madison from the African Leadership Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting transformational change in Africa by developing and connecting the next generation of African leaders, where he served as Executive Director. He lives in Harlem with his wife, Debbie, and has two adult children. McChristian succeeds Joseph Patuleia, who will continue to serve as Madisons Executive Director Emeritus and will be working on special projects until September 2018. As someone who has received support and guidance from an organization so similar to Madison, I am excited to share my experience and give back to New York City youth who deserve the same opportunities I have had throughout my life, said. He will spearhead Madisons efforts to open its new Pinkerton Clubhouse in Harlem, which will be Madisons largest and most advanced facility to date. The Pinkerton Clubhouse is expected to open its doors to the Harlem community next summer. McChristian received his Bachelor of Science from Yale University and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Madison currently serves over 5,000 members between the ages of 6 and 18 at four Clubhouses located in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
